Giovenzo is a farm born from the dream of two young boys from Abruzzo: Denny and Matteo.

The mission that guides the Giovenzo project is to bring to the table the authenticity of the Abruzzo winemaking tradition with an eye to innovation and sustainability.
Giovenzo tells the story of the territory and the values of Abruzzo through wine, and does so on the one hand through the revaluation of local vineyards and the passion for viticulture, on the other by adopting an integrated and sustainable agricultural production system, aimed at reducing the use of chemicals, water and energy throughout the vine management chain.
For us at Giovenzo, sustainability is a priority.

The wines are all branded SQNPI (National Quality System Integrated Production), that is, made through a production process that combines good agronomic practices with a sustainable use of fertilizers and plant protection products.

Integrated production (or agriculture) is a voluntary production system that is implemented by respecting the technical standards established for each type of crop both as regards defense against adversities and for all other agronomic practices such as fertilization and irrigation.

The two visions and two souls at the center of this project converge to offer a product of absolute quality, capable of responding to today's renewed consumption and catering needs.

The wines of the Giovenzo line are discovered and rediscovered, because they bring the Abruzzo tradition to the table, by telling it, both to the local consumer in search of zero impact typicality and excellence, and to the foreign consumer, interested in new and authentic taste experiences, even at a distance.

To fulfill its promise of authenticity and quality, the Giovenzo winery has created the "Ritorna" Line, in honor of the symbol of its city, the Lighthouse, an echo of ancient suggestions and legends, which dominates the historic port of Ortona.

A "stable" of 3 DOC wines and 1 IGT wine that represent the summary of the Abruzzo winemaking tradition.
The Montepulciano red with an intense and decisive character; the Cerasuolo rosé, fresh and clear like the waters of the Theatine coast; the white Cococciola IGT with fruity and intriguing notes; the balanced and delicate Trebbiano, with its typical straw yellow hue.
