BenOrganic's pomegranate essence comes from the southeastern city of Mersin, which is famous for its gastronomy. There the extract is used to refine salads and meat dishes. The pomegranates used come from controlled organic cultivation. Traditionally made not-from-concentrate apple juice is heated slowly and for a very long time. This creates a viscous extract.
