Our key partner, Eisberg – known for their nice, prepared salad plates – asked us to develop an oil dressing to accompany their chickpea salad bowl. The Great Tastes judges were delighted by the oriental style blend of corn and sesame oils, and honoured it with a 2-star award. They described it as „a nice clear oil with a vibrant yellow colour, a good nutty aroma, high viscosity and good buttery mouthfill. Divine. A really good balance of flavours. We would be excited to use it in our home kitchens. We also like the unique and subtle nature of this oil.” The oriental style oil mix has another unique feature. As both components tolerate heat well, the blend is also suitable for cooking and baking, making stir fries or wok dishes of the eastern cuisine.
