Guérande Cosmétiques was born from the exceptional meeting between the Earth and the Sea. It finds its origins in southern Brittany, in the heart of the salt pans of the Guérande peninsula. This thousand-year-old ecosystem, created by nature, preserved and maintained by man, presents unique natural riches, providing benefits for the skin.
In the salt pans, a natural phenomenon of water filtration occurs, under the effect of the moon, which produces the tides, and the sun and wind, which promote evaporation. This is how Mother Waters are born, a concentrate of marine waters and a true elixir of vitality. Exceptionally rich in mineral salts and trace elements, they constitute the essential active ingredient of Guérande cosmetics: dosed in all our formulas in perfect affinity with the skin, they transmit their energizing, regenerating, repairing and soothing properties to the epidermis. This unique expertise led Guérande to file a formulation patent for its Mother Water cosmetics. In addition, we also incorporate other resources extracted from salt mines into our treatments: salt, plant algae, clays, etc. according to the skin's needs.
