With this syringe you can easily give your baby milk, liquid food or medicine and it's clean and waste-free (zero-waste!). What is special about the syringe are the two side openings on the tip of the nipple. This way, the liquid is squirted into the side of the baby's mouth instead of straight back, which significantly reduces the risk of choking. In contrast to conventional syringes with hard tips (which can injure the delicate skin in the baby's mouth and therefore often have to be used with your fingers), the tip of the Haakaa syringe is made of soft silicone and the baby can therefore squeeze it like a nipple or baby bottle suck. The Haakaa syringe measures liquids in 5 ml increments, so it is not ideal for smaller quantities. application • Fill the syringe with the correct amount of medicine - always check the amount is correct! • Lay your baby on your lap facing away from you. • Place the syringe tip in your baby's mouth. Once it starts sucking, you can slowly push the plunger into the syringe. Characteristics: • Made from food grade silicone and non-toxic PP plastic. • Side vents on nipple support distribute medicine sideways in mouth instead of straight back down throat. • Soft, pacifier-like nipple tip. • Pacifier-like partition reduces risk of choking/choking. • 10 ml volume in syringe, 20 ml volume in cup cap. • Clearly visible markings enable accurate measurement of liquid. • Can be easily dismantled into individual parts for cleaning. Cleaning and care: Wash the syringe before and after each use. Although the syringe is dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing the syringe with warm, soapy water, rinsing well and then drying. Do not use harsh agents such as sterilizing tablets or bleach. The syringe can be sterilized in a steam sterilizer or by boiling it in hot water for 2-3 minutes. Danger: The Haakaa Syringe only measures amounts in 5mL increments and is therefore inaccurate for smaller amounts. Check regularly that the syringe is still completely intact and replace it if it shows any signs of damage. Do not store them near sharp objects. Only use soft sponges or brushes with soft bristles for cleaning (hard bristles or sponges can damage the surface of the silicone). This isn't a toy. Use the syringe only for its intended purpose. Store the toothbrush in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight. Use only under adult supervision.
