Cleaning and care Wash the nipple shield before and after each use. Although dishwasher safe, we recommend washing the hat with warm, soapy water, rinsing well and then letting it dry.  Do not use aggressive agents such as sterilizing tablets or bleach. The nipple shield can be sterilized in a steam sterilizer or by boiling it in hot water for 2-3 minutes. Danger Check regularly that the nipple shield is still completely intact and replace it if it shows any signs of damage. UExcessive stretching/pulling can cause tears.  Do not store it near sharp objects.  Only use soft sponges or brushes with soft bristles for cleaning (hard bristles or sponges can damage the surface of the silicone).  This is not a toy.
