The book traces the construction of the Paris below: how the gypsum and limestone terrains were dug to construct buildings and monuments; how the catacombs were formed when emptying unsanitary cemeteries; how Paris finally got a sewer worthy of the name ... The traces of these developments are still present in the basement and are the playground of those called the cataphiles.
