BOOK - Lands of Lights

In search of a better world, Camille and Illiès travel the paths of the world. Passionate about meeting people and learning, they left their sedentary lives to venture where they never thought they would go. A radical change in their lives inspires them to make documentaries while sharing behind the scenes of their daily lives. In “Lands of Lights,” they reconstruct two years of travel, which took them from the Caspian Sea to the foothills of the Himalayas. They set out on the trail of mythical places and peoples: the gardens of Isfahan, the Baluch people, the isolated valleys of the Himalayas and the fakirs of Sindh. Witnesses to the beauty and diversity of our planet, each photograph and each story that accompanies it invite us to learn from others.
