BOOK - Divers City

Who are the artists who make and break city walls? Masterful frescoes or carefully hidden winks, drawings, stencils, graffiti, collages... urban art today encompasses an immense variety of works and techniques. In this work, photographer Wendy Lily V.,fascinated by this urban culture, wanted to show the richness and diversity of this art form, by immortalizing usually ephemeral works on a printed medium. Thus, she contacted more than 100 artists who each agreed to create an original work. Designed like a black book, this unique work allows you to discover urban art in Île-de-France. It’s a festival of colors, shapes and graphics that appear throughout the pages. It is also an invitation to rediscover our environment, to wander randomly through the streets, eyes wide open in search of these treasures placed on our walls.
