The Haltingen wine cooperative was founded on June 5, 1936 in the town hall. At that time there were 36 members and around 60,000 liters of wine were produced. In October 1959, the hamlets join vintners and red wine was also made for the first time. In 1970 some winegrowers from Tüllingen joined them. In 2018, the catchment area was expanded and since then, grapes from a winemaker with locations in Badenweiler Römerberg have also been processed. Today around 55 hectares of vineyards are cultivated.
