Fresh strawberries boiled down, thickened and then seasoned with fresh chili, lime and balsamic vinegar. A fruity, slightly spicy taste. This sauce not only goes well with grilled food, but also perfectly with pâtés and cheeses, e.g. an old Comte aged 24 months or an aged Brie de Meaux. A successful and unusual combination.
