Colombia is certainly one of the leading coffee-growing countries in the world. The Arabica coffee is grown near Medin in the high altitudes of Colombia. The coffee is mild with little caffeine. This is what makes it so special and coveted worldwide. We source our beans from small coffee farmers, which is becoming increasingly difficult as the government tries to protect the country's natural resources.
The taste is mild with a hint of citrus and with little acidity, which is why the Colombia coffee is a stomach-friendly, low-acid coffee. In order to give the coffee the important sweetness, we mix it with a little Robusta from controlled cultivation (10%), which gives the coffee its full body and the much-loved crema. Like all our coffees, Colombia coffee has whole beans and is not ground by us.
