The Secret of a Unique Incense
At H&B we believe in the magic of nature and how each plant has the power to transform our environment and elevate our spirituality.
Our incense is the result of a very careful ancestral production process in which the essence of each ingredient is respected, obtaining aromas of maximum purity and freshness.
But our story goes beyond the aroma of our fragrances; It is intertwined with the lives of the women from the villages of Mandya, India, who make our incense and give life to this project. Through their craftsmanship, these women not only produce incense, but also hope, empowerment, and a brighter future for their communities.

“The Art of Our Creation: Quality and Purity”
From the beginning, H&B's intention was to create something meaningful that would bring value to people. This could only be achieved by creating a product that was an extension of nature and in which our task was simply that of the alchemist who manages to transfer the properties and benefits of a plant to an incense stick, without adding anything and subtracting as little as possible.
We knew that this would only be possible with excellent quality raw materials. For this reason, all our resins are of first extraction, keeping intact the natural properties of the plants and woods we use.
"The Artisan Manufacturing Process"
Preserving ancestral techniques, the process begins with the spraying of dry woods and resins, which will be mixed according to the desired aroma with Halmadi resin, Jiggat wood and honey if applicable, which acts as a natural preservative. This mixture, once homogeneous, will be added to the desired natural essence or essences, and the filling will continue to be worked until the natural essence has been distributed uniformly. Finally, we will add the pulverized and previously toasted coconut bark that will work as a fuel agent. Once we obtain the filling, it is left to rest for several days to achieve complete homogeneity and fixation of all its ingredients.
When the filling is ready, the bamboo sticks are manually rolled. They are then dried in the sun for approximately ten days, regularly rotating the rods so that they dry evenly, and sprayed with Jiggat wood to prevent them from drying out. This process guarantees that our incense retains its unaltered essence for more than two years without the need for chemical preservatives.
