Haute-Loire elevation map

Haute-Loire is entirely located in the central-eastern part of the Massif Central, in the current Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is a department with a high average altitude: 2/3 of Haute-Loire exceeds 800 m in altitude and its lowest point is located at 393 m above sea level. Generally speaking, the relief of the Haute-Loire is delimited by the Allier valley, which flows to the west of the department in a northwesterly direction. HAS To the west of the Allier lies the Margeride; to the east lies the Velay region. It is crossed by several valleys, including those of the Loire and the Lignon du Velay. In addition, certain sectors of the department have specific names related to their mountain: the Mézenc massif and the Meygal (with the Suc d'Achon). The department has a name which indicates its location upstream of the Loire which flows through it from south to north. This poster is a 2D print.Format: 50x70 cm
