The history of the HeulNotRum
If you've read this far carefully, you've probably noticed the name Octopussy, which has already been mentioned twice and is inextricably linked to HeulnichtRum. Apparently this is not a person - or a living being? – who one would like to meet alone in the dark. But who or what is Octopussy actually? To understand this, we need to take a look into the past - into a past when there were still hardened seafarers and real pirate ships. One of these ships was the Black Tear, on which the infamous Octopussy hired as rum steward. So, under the direction of Captain Sot, a true drunkard, she was forced to ration rum for the crew day in and day out - while enduring the constant howling, "I didn't get anything yesterday!" or "That one has a lot more in the glass than me!” there were still the most tolerable weeping. No wonder that Octopussy got fed up with it at some point, when she wasn't allowed to drink a single drop of the good rum herself. So she decided to secretly leave the ship one night. Of course she took the rum with her. "Have fun howling," she whispered before disappearing into the depths of the sea. Too bad her disappearance didn't go unnoticed the next morning. With the first parrot cry Captain Sot was on his feet, with the second he was already cursing Octopussy's name and this outrageous breach of trust. Gesturing wildly and looking out to sea, Sot clung to the railing. "Damn you, Octopussy!" he yelled. "I curse you to keep making rum! You should not rest until you have combined all the flavors from Jamaica to Nicaragua. May your betrayal be your undoing forever!”
His words were followed by a huge black wave that shook the ocean that Octopussy was still swimming in at the time. As soon as she reached her, she was pulled towards the coast with tremendous force. No swimming, no kicking could counter the curse. And as Octopussy was swept away by the swirling eddies, she made one decision: she would get back at Sot. She would find a way to break this curse. And she already had a plan – the Rumbillion. Will you also support Octopussy and become a part of her?
