It's a belief. A belief that enjoyment and sustainability can coexist. That you can produce good food without exploiting people or nature. That loving and fair work can make a difference for you, us and the planet.
BECAUSE LET'S BE HONEST:
A quick look at any discount store shows that almost everything is cheaper and cheaper these days. But cheap prices cannot be achieved without compromises being made somewhere. When quantity becomes more important than quality, when fairness, attention to detail and responsible production become too expensive, then something has to give. Most of the time it affects small farmers who have to give up their traditional crafts, the environment, which can no longer be taken into account, and taste, which is subordinated to sales.

We don't agree with that. With hinterland we would like to make a contribution to preserving natural production processes for valuable food in family structures.
Our premium oil comes purely from hand-picked, organically cultivated olives from the sun-drenched grove in Villena; of course from first cold pressing. It is pleasantly peppery and has the bitter substances typical of olive oil. Your taste buds will be seduced with a special nuance of fruitiness reminiscent of freshly mown grass and green apples. On the palate, the olive oil is complex, ripe and smooth.
With our oil you are not only doing something good for your taste and health, but also for the environment, traditional crafts and the local people.
