Golden or silver brooch with seahorse motif

Inspired by memories of vacations by the sea, the Seahorse brooch is made of silver-plated brass and gilded with fine gold. A small series is then produced by chemical cutting. In my workshop I carry out all the welding with a blowtorch, the finished jewel is sent to my Parisian gilder who carries out the gold or silver finishes. Once this step is completed, all I have to do is assemble the patterns. Maintenance advice Costume jewelry doesn't like water, I advise you to remove it in the shower, at the sea or in the swimming pool. Since silver jewelry is covered with a layer of real silver, it can oxidize slightly, so that it regains its shine, nothing could be simpler than rubbing it gently with a little lemon juice on a soft cloth. You can also use products made for silverware always on a soft cloth. For gold jewelry, a short bath for a few minutes in white vinegar, and rinsing with water, followed by drying with a soft cloth will suffice.
