This Exclusive DIY kit introduces the folder to the fascinating world of geometric origami and teaches how to fold your own postcards. Origami designer Tune Holstein wants to spread the word of origami, so he has chosen some folklore origami and added a design of his own. With this DIY kit the folder gets to fold – 3 Holstein Folds Snowflakes. Folded from a hexagon – 3 Japanese pentagram stars from pentagons – 3 postcards where an origami bird functions as a cover/closing mechanism of the card String for hanging the decoration is attached. All decorations are folded from the finest Japanese paper in red or creme white with bold and generous brushes of gold (each paper is unique) and from the semi-transparent Japanese edo mizore, which has a delicate leather-ish structure. The postcards are folded from paper printed with the famous William Morris motive Strawberry Thief. The folder scans the enclosed QR code and is lead to an easy-to-follow online instruction video. Although the speak in the video is Danish the video is easy to follow for every one who can see.
