Geometric Crochet Throw

Experience comfort in crochet with this cozy throw brought to you by Home Therapy and made with oodles of love by women artisans.  It hails from Narsapur - home to some of the finest Indian crochet artisans.  It is believed that women belonging to a farming community started creating exquisite crochet and lace offerings here, 150 years ago.  They passed on the skill to other women and overtime gained prowess in the craft.  The world soon took notice of this talent and offerings from tiny, non-descript Narsapur started traveling the globe.  Today, these women artisans are known to experiment with designs and knots, creating patterns that are eclectic.  The artisans work the cotton yarn into sophisticated loops forming a smooth chain with the of differently-sized crochet hooks.  The cotton yarn used makes this throw utterly soft and it can double up as a pullover blanket for kids too!
