Organic Panch Phoron mix - 40 g

It is through a fair process that we have selected the spices that make up our organic Panch Phoron mixture from small farmer cooperatives.     The assembly is produced by hand in our premises.     From organic farming (ECOCERT certification).     In Hindi, Panch means 5. Our Panch Phoron is therefore a mixture of 5 seeds.     In Bengal, it is the most used spice blend. The traditional use of Panch Phoron consists of “roasting” it in a hot pan with a drizzle of olive oil, in order to make the seeds crispier and develop their flavor. We then add fish fillets or vegetables which go very well with its slightly aniseed aroma.     You can also add a spoonful of panch phoron mixture to the rice cooking water to give it a light and pleasant aroma.     Ingredients: Cumin, Black mustard, Nigella, Fenugreek, Fennel.
