Organic long grain pepper - 500 g

It is through a fair process that we selected our organic long pepper from small farmer cooperatives. Our team ensures packaging and shipping from our premises.     Long pepper, almost unknown today, was nevertheless the first to be imported into Europe. Originally from northern India, it still grows in the wild there. This oblong-shaped pepper measures between 2 and 3 cm long, and comes from a small shrub. We harvest the grains when ripe and then dry them in the sun.     Its hot and spicy flavor contains delicious notes of cinnamon, licorice and even anise. HASput whole in a broth, its perfume can then diffuse slowly. It goes well with delicate meats like lamb, it will flavor your simple tomato sauces, and it has the particularity of also being cooked with desserts.     The size of its grains requires grinding with a pestle before adding it to your mill.
