Wall Hanging Decorative Plate x

This handmade Wall Plaque, in white earthenware, is cut out by hand from rolled out sheets of off-white earthenware clay. When the clay is leather hard the designs are carved in. Stamps are then used for little details. Once bisque fired, the plaque is modestly decorated with oxides and colourful glazes to emphasize the natural colour and texture of the clay. It has got a fitting on the back, so it can be easily hung on the wall. As I am using fresh flowers to press into the clay, each item is unique, no two pieces are exactly the same. All my shop products are handmade in my studio in the South of England. Product size: Approx. 20cm x 20cm.
