After the Applied Arts in Paris, Claire Morel Fatio came out with the double role of illustrator and graphic designer. She works for major publishing houses in the practical and youth sectors (Albin Michel, Flammarion, First, Hachette, Larousse, Payot, etc.). A Parisian, she is particularly passionate about this city, which she illustrates with tenderness and poetry. Always looking for places to draw, she likes to be surprised at the corner of the street by a detail that she would not have seen before, or by a scene from everyday life. His work in traditional technique leaves a lot of room for the vibration of the line and the pigments of watercolor. This allows him to bring softness and sensitivity to his illustrations. She likes the spectator to tell a story, to be carried away into a world of lightness, which takes him out of his daily life, even just for a moment.
