The blueberries are harvested by hand by small farming families in the mountains in the north of the country. The tea can be enjoyed warm as a fruit tea or sweetened in summer as a fruity iced tea. INGREDIENTS Blueberries - Country of origin: Albania PREPARATION Roughly chop 3-4 teaspoons of blueberries per cup and cook in water for at least 10 minutes. Pour the tea through a sieve into the cup. This brings out the juicy red color and the fruity-sour taste. For refreshing iced tea: roughly chop 16 teaspoons of blueberries and boil in 1L of water for at least 10 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or other sweetener and stir well.
