INI CERAMIQUE is a handmade ceramic studio based in France 🇫🇷, and founded by our designer, Inhee Ma. Her ceramic work aims to create decorative pieces, such as vases, teapots, cups, bowls or plates.
Through the development of collections built around a minimalist wabi sabi aesthetic, his creations generate a dialogue between craftsmanship, art and nature.

A graduate of the Montpellier School of Fine Arts, Inhee Ma is Korean and develops a multidisciplinary activity, combining contemporary art, design and craftsmanship.

The INI CERAMIQUE collections emerge from the association between aesthetic inspiration and functionality of everyday objects.

All INI CERAMIC pieces are handmade by the designer, in her workshop. 👋🏻In chamotte sandstone, they are then fired at high temperature and present a contrast between a shiny transparent enamel interior and a raw exterior highlighting the natural texture of the earth.

What are the inspirations of INI CERAMIC?
A graduate of fine arts in Montpellier, I am mainly influenced by contemporary and classical art, traditional craftsmanship and the complexity of nature. I then seek to build a bridge connecting these disciplines and the design of my collections, aiming to offer a simple design in my ceramics and pottery.

What type(s) of products do you manufacture?
My work is centered on the creation of decorative elements. I like to play with the functionality of the object and its materialization, whether in terms of texture or shape. While my collection includes a series of handmade minimalist vases, I am currently developing a line of tableware, such as teapots, bowls and plates that I hope will find their place in any home decor.

What is the production time for INI CERAMIC? Do you have items currently in stock?
I'm working on a permanent collection concept for my vases. If we have the product you wish to order in stock, we will send it to you within 2 working days. If this product is currently out of stock, we ask that you wait 10 days. This is the time we need to complete the production process, until the vase is ready to be shipped to you. Please also note that for unique pieces, only one item is available, which means that once sold, it will unfortunately not be possible to produce another one.

Do you have a favorite material? If yes which ?
Attentive to providing a durable offer, I only use high quality stoneware whose natural characteristics guarantee more durable and resistant items. I also prefer chamotte clay for the natural raw texture it offers after firing. This is why, for example, I leave the outside of my creations raw and enamel only the inside of my vases.
