Natural and black round raffia rug – 100 cm

Round rug with a diameter of 100 cm in raffia, hand-woven by Séraphine from the Rouge Beauté association. This model combines natural raffia and black-dyed raffia. Each rug is unique! Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will compose it. She does the raffia coloring herself. Once the raffia is dry, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid around itself as she goes. That's why rugs are round. It takes 1 week to make a carpet 1 meter in diameter.
