Round orange, brown and black raffia rug – 200 cm

Round rug with a diameter of 200 cm in raffia, hand-woven by Fine from the Rouge Beauté association in Madagascar.A strong and contrasting model, orange, brown and black, which electrifies the decoration of a room and goes well with the warm tones of wood. Each rug is unique! Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will compose it. She does the raffia coloring herself. Once the raffia is dry, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid around itself as she goes. That's why rugs are round. It takes about 3 weeks to make a 2-meter diameter carpet.
