Hi, I’m Claire, the heart and hands behind Irish Cards & Prints.
Ever since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated with Ogham, the earliest form of writing in Ireland. As I’ve grown older, my fascination has deepened into a love for our beautiful language, Gaeilge, and its subtle yet profound influence on the English we speak today.
My journey began with a simple realisation: while I wanted to infuse a bit of Gaeilge into my everyday life, it was surprisingly difficult to find greeting cards written in Irish. This challenge sparked an idea. With my passion for crafting and card-making, I decided to create my own Irish language and Ogham cards to share with family and friends.
We now have a mix of colourful and fun Irish and English cards, each one designed and printed here in our small studio with care and my goal is to create pieces that are not just cards but keepsakes.
As a family-run business, Irish Cards & Prints is built on values of love, sustainability, and connection. I use eco-friendly materials and sustainable practices to ensure that each card is not only beautiful but also kind to our environment.
