Rwanda Rukeri OP Tea - 1kg Bulk

Rukeri tea is grown northwest of Kigali, on the high plateaus of Rwanda (1500 to 2000 m altitude), in the heart of the Great Lakes region. It is a fertile region, on soils of volcanic origin, where water is abundant. Rukeri Garden is part of the Sorwathe Estate, which is gradually converting to organic farming. Currently 80% of production is certified organic. The estate has also been fair trade certified since 2003. Rukeri OP is a full-bodied tea that may be reminiscent of some Assam teas. It develops woody, malty and vegetal notes in a copper-brown colored liqueur. Conditioning : An economical format of 1kg of loose tea: intended mainly for restaurateurs who wish to serve good organic tea.
