Selected basket set (handwoven)

This compilation of our seagrass and palm baskets gives an impression of our current portfolio. The baskets in different sizes can be used universally - both as storage baskets and for decorative and presentation purposes. The baskets are hand-woven and produced in an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable manner. They are durable, sustainable and have a special aesthetic. The women's cooperative of the village of Nngaye weave the seaweed baskets for us. All baskets are handcrafted, unique pieces made in the Senegalese tradition. Seaweed has been used to make baskets and plates for generations. The plastic fibers used for braiding are production leftovers that are reused. The baskets are durable, sustainable and have a special aesthetic. The palm baskets are made by the Jobe family from Serrekunda, who have been handcrafting these baskets in Mariama Kunda, Gambia for several generations. Father and son produce in their own farm - their baskets are woven from the branches of the palm tree. The robust baskets are untreated and not painted. Eco-friendly and handmade products with a neutral tone complete every corner of the home The baobab baskets are our own creation, based on the traditional Senegalese seagrass baskets. To weave these baskets, we use natural fibers from West African plants such as the baobab tree instead of the typical plastic fibers. The fibers of the baobab tree are very strong and are often used to make rope.
