The Jean d’Aigle house, born in 1945 with Cologne Cyprus, a Mediterranean, exotic and alpine blend. Curious and in love with nature, she has always been an obvious source of inspiration for its founder, Jean Soutter.
He grew up in the village of Aigle where, even as a child, he made herbaria that identify the shapes,
smells and textures of plants from his native Switzerland.
Convinced that Nature and Man are complementary, he wishes to create colognes that embody this alchemy.
For more than 75 years, in our workshops, we have assembled and brewed essences by hand.
After 4 weeks of maceration, they are then filtered in the old fashioned way, without glaciation, giving our Colognes all their strength and authenticity.
