Recipiente de porcelana para alimentacion y decoracion cp009

¡¡UNIQUE PIECE!! Porcelain vessel glazed with bright speckled oxide red and matte dark green. It is a wide sized porcelain container, useful for soups, creams, salads, sauces, etc. Or dry foods such as fruits, nuts, french fries ... It is also useful for flower arrangements, a single decorative piece, etc. Its unglazed base is normal in handmade ceramic pieces. This is not a problem since the porcelain is vitrified and is completely waterproof. It is also polished, so it cannot affect the surface of the furniture if it is properly used. This piece is food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe, and resistant to sudden temperature changes. Main Color: Dark Green and Red Iron Oxide Surface Type: Matte Glaze and Shiny Glaze This piece was fired two times at high temperature (bisque fire at 1080ºC – 1980ºF, then I glazed it and it was fired at least once again at 1250ºC - 2280ºF). This midsize porcelain vessel is a unique and unrepeatable piece. It is a work of high craftsmanship, elaborated and carefully designed in all its details. The piece has a mixture of contrasting colors that make it very special. Due to its size and wall thickness, this porcelain vessel can be a daily use piece. Porcelain is a harder material than stoneware, although it is more delicate to work with. It allows to make thinner walls and can be translucent. This makes it perfect for special pieces and lamps and not so much for everyday use ware as those of stoneware or porcelain with normal thickness walls. I prepare by myself the glazes, with balanced formulas, using high quality raw materials. So, they properly melt on the piece in the final firing. Thus they are transformed into coloured glass. They become in an inert material that does not be altered by the acids of some foods, nor with sudden temperature changes, etc. I glazed this piece with a bright speckled oxide red glaze on exterior, and matte green on the inside. Into the kiln the glazes melt and mix creating unique and unrepeatable effects.
