I'm Amandine, the founder of JOLICIRQUE, the new brand of facial care for mom, baby, and the whole family.

I am the mother of two young children: my daughter, born in 2021, and my son, born in 2023.

For over 10 years I worked in marketing and cosmetic product development in Paris and New York.

The world of beauty and care has always been a real passion for me.

I thought I knew the cosmetics industry well

And yet, when I got pregnant with my first child, I was surprised and disappointed by the creams for mothers and babies:

- Harmful or worrying substances
- Irritating perfumes, allergens or alcohols - even in natural or organic products
- Active ingredients that have not evolved for decades - despite the dazzling advances in dermocosmetic research
- Old-fashioned packaging, not at all practical to use - and harmful to the environment

I then had only one idea in mind: to create a new generation of products for us and for our babies. Safer, more modern, more responsible, but also more effective care.

This is how the idea of developing a brand for mothers was born. Several months after giving birth to my daughter, I decided that this brand would be called "JOLICIRQUE", in homage to the "joyful chaos" that the arrival of motherhood represented in my life, and in that of many women. Diving into a new universe, the happiness that makes our hearts explode, the emotional storms, the fears and doubts, the unexpected, the laughter and the tears... this excess of everything, which fills us so much but sometimes overwhelms us.

And always for me, this incredible gratitude of having been able to become a mother. I wanted to create a brand that celebrates all the beauty and complexity of motherhood.

It took me over two years to develop the Mama Shake.

I wanted the first treatment in the range to be a simple but expert product. A treatment very different from what you find on the market, as good for mothers as for babies. The product had to be able to be applied to babies' faces too, so that mothers who had forgotten to think of themselves when looking for a treatment for their baby could say to themselves, "Oh, why not a treatment for me too?"".

Because our children deserve the best... But so do we.

The Mama Shake invites all mothers and mothers-to-be to finally take some time for themselves, whether they have 5 seconds, 5 minutes or 1 hour for themselves.
