Throughout my story...
I am a painter and children's illustrator based in Saint Loubès, near Bordeaux. I exhibit my work in galleries and boutiques in Bordeaux, Paris, Berlin, Strasbourg, Nantes, Reunion Island, Belgium and at exhibitions and art markets throughout the year in Gironde and nearby departments.
Having worked as a chemist in the pharmaceutical industry for a while, I traded my test tubes for paintbrushes in 2011 to become a painter. Then in 2012, after a first experience illustrating a children's novel, I decided to continue in this direction while continuing my painting work. Since then, I have also worked in children's publishing (children's novels, albums and press) with French and foreign publishers.
My work is rich in material, sometimes a bit wacky and always full of poetry...I work primarily in mixed media: collages of all kinds of paper and fabric, which I salvage and combine with paint (acrylic or gouache), then markers, pencils, pastels, etc.
