KAÏA is a small family business founded in the midst of a pandemic by producer Sarah Ben Romdane at the age of 26, on a mission to change the future of Tunisian olive oil.
KAÏA is a brand resulting from a hundred-year-old family property, in a short circuit, and certified organic, which distributes extra virgin olive oil produced by its founder.
KAÏA is the first Tunisian olive oil available at La Grande Epicerie de Paris. On Va Déguster (France Inter), Brut and Europe 1 to name a few talked about KAÏA.
After three months of solo confinement in Paris, Sarah decides to find her parents in Tunisia, where she has always spent her summers. She rediscovers the joy of living slowly and consciously and realizes that something is missing when she is not in Tunisia and decides to remedy it. At that moment she wondered how to build a life and a career with the purest intention and olive oil was the answer.
Under the KAÏA brand, Sarah produces and distributes extra virgin olive oil, cold extracted and certified organic from their fifth generation family property in Tunisia, a century after her ancestors did it.
KAÏA reconnects with ancestral family know-how, values the rich Tunisian soil and its history, and empowers the women and men who protect it.
