“Ernesto and Celestina, street musicians” is one of the 30 books in a successful series that Gabrielle Vicent began publishing in the 1980s about the adventures of a good-natured bear and a fragile rat. They live modestly in a house that suddenly needs repairs and, in order to pay for the repairs, Celestina asks Ernesto to play the violin in the street. The differences between the two are more than evident not only from a physical point of view, due to Ernesto's robust appearance and Celestina's small size, but also because their personalities are very different: she represents initiative, dynamism, tenacity and optimism against his more lazy, protective and pessimistic character.
