The four Seasons

The squirrel was amazed. He ran from one side to the other on the soft grass, he climbed the trees rubbing against the new shoots and from the highest he called the other squirrels: "Come out, run, spring has arrived"... The four seasons, by Antonio Vivaldi (Venice, 1678 - Vienna, 1741), is one of the best compositions of baroque music. A precocious violin teacher, its virtuoso creator came to compose 600 concertos, 100 operas and numerous pieces for instruments. Inspired by this work, José Antonio Abad presents a bucolic story set in a forest, where he describes the seasonal changes: spring with its flowery dress, the suffocating heat of summer, the arrival of autumn when the trees give their foliage to the wind, and the white confetti rain of winter.
