Cinnamon - Ceylon Cinnamon whole

Real cinnamon is from Sri Lanka and is considered the best cinnamon in the world. It is also known as Ceylon cinnamon, Ceylon Cinnamon and Cinnamomum Zeylanicum. The taste is sweet, very delicate and with a slightly spicy aftertaste. The cinnamon bark is hand-harvested, rolled, dried and cut into small sticks just before they are sent to us. Our cinnamon is "wild", which means that the cinnamon trees we get our cinnamon from grow in wild forest gardens around Kandy - as opposed to large cultivated plantations. The cinnamon trees grow side by side with tropical fruit trees and spices around the town of Matale, about 25 km north of Kandy. 7-9 pcs
