Curry leaves are essential in Sri Lankan cuisine but are also fantastic in other types of dishes. The aromatic small leaf resembles a small bay leaf in appearance, but the taste is warm spicy, nutty and with a light taste of citrus. Our curry leaves come from the area around Kandy and grow wild in forest gardens surrounded by tropical fruit trees and plants. Heat the leaves a little in a little oil before searing meat and vegetables etc. and let them simmer in the dish to give the food a delicate and delicious touch. 5 g
