Roasted curry - Roasted curry powder

There is no single recipe for curry powder, but the mixtures vary depending on which region you are in and which family has its own recipe for the spice mixture, which is typically passed down from generation to generation. Our Sri Lankan roasted curry powder is a thuna-paha (translated: three-five), which is the number of spices that ordinary Sri Lankan curry powder traditionally contains. The three essential spices include cumin, fennel seeds and coriander seeds and may curry leaves, cinnamon bark etc. are also added. Our curry blend is hot and spicy with notes of roasted coffee and truly a unique and special flavor in Sri Lankan cuisine.
