.925 Shen Ring Protection Amulet Necklace.

The Shen (meaning "encircle") is a stylized rope loop with no beginning and no end. ÄSimilar to the ouroboros, it symbolized eternity and was used as a protective symbol (especially as a protective cartouche in hieroglyphs).                                        It was associated with a number of deities, including Horus, Nekhbet and Mut, and was also a common symbol in jewelry making.     This Shen is made of 925 antique silver and the chain is also made of antique silver, 45 cm long and closes with a spring ring clasp.
