1972 Skysand Kelton x Chapal Chronograph

Here is our first mechanical chronograph* with manual winding, produced in 2 x 100 numbered copies.   Sporty by nature, it adds the display of timed times to the reading of the current time.   To create and develop it, we collaborated with the prestigious Chapal factory, whose history is closely linked to those of aviation and automobiles.    Kelton is also very closely involved in motor sports.   Emerson Fittipaldi, twice crowned Formula 1 world champion in 1972 and 1974 and sponsored by Timex, visited the Besançon workshops in 1975.   The name of this watch (1972) is a nod to Emerson’s track record.  Features : • Mechanical chronograph with manual winding. •Sandblasted stainless steel case 40 mm. •10ATM. •Seagull St 1901 movement. •Sapphire crystal. •SuperLuminova dots on the hour and minute hands. •Vegetable-tanned box leather bracelet, brass clasp button, hot stamped: Chapal Paris, made in France. •100 numbered copies.
