The punched-out circle on the front flap shows the word STILLE, which is printed on the inside of the card, and when you open the card you read: “We wish you a quiet Christmas”. Gray board is also known as gray cardboard, the material you know from the back of a writing pad. Today it is more popularly often referred to as Kraft paper. The cardboard is made from waste paper without bleaching etc., color variations from gray to brown are possible.
