Mosaic Amphora- Stone

An amphora or amphora (a combination of ἀμφι (on both sides) and φορεύς (carrier), referring to the two handles) is a jug with two ears that ends in a point at the bottom. Amphorae were usually used to store and transport liquids such as oil or wine, but grain was also stored in these jars. The 2D mosaics by Domenech from Spain are of a beautiful quality. The stones have beautiful natural colors, which provide a beautiful result.
