KLAUS, the Gourmet Spirit since 1856!
Founded in 1856 in Le Locle in neighboring Switzerland, our Chocolaterie Confiserie has been proudly displayed since the end of the 19th century in the heart of the Franche-Comté Watchmaking Country, in Morteau, where we perpetuate the great tradition of Chocolate and Confectionery initiated by Jacques KLAUS, its creator.
Our uniqueness? The cross-border history of our House which today makes it one of our greatest assets.
Our engine? Our Terroir which is found in some of our iconic recipes and the thirst for innovation which has driven us to reinvent ourselves for more than 165 years. Local and regional sourcing allows us to regularly integrate the best raw materials from Franche-Comté into our recipes, such as milk, butter, flour, honey, sunflower oil, etc.
Our strength? Our gourmet products which delight the taste buds of young and old, anchored in the family history of each mortuary household for several generations and which cross local and regional borders thanks to varied distribution networks.
