Designed by Guillaume Delvigne for Orchid Edition, the SILLON chair highlights one of the typical attributes of rattan furniture, the work of seat and back upholstery in thin parallel strips. Reminiscent of the visual rhythm of a zen garden raked in curves, the name "furrow" imposed itself naturally. "I wanted to play with the flexibility of rattan by emphasizing a covering in thin canes that echoes the outer contour and becomes a real pattern. " Guillaume Delvigne "Guillaume Delvigne's work immediately appealed to us because we felt a desire to build furniture in rattan and nothing but rattan. Guillaume used all the by-products made from rattan cane: pith in weaving like the baskets, marquetry for flat areas reminiscent of floor mats... The in-depth study of traditional models has made it possible to create solid structures with innovative shapes from the outset. I immediately loved the SILLON chair because it was unlike any other. It is compact, light, stackable and very solid. For me, it has everything to please." Tina Ledi Structure in varnished natural rattan. Optional removable seat cushion.
