A classic of the Italian pastry tradition, made with a light pastry that contains a heart of black cherry jam, a biscuit that recalls summer and grandmother's sweets. The light and crumbly pastry, made with Italian butter and eggs from free-range hens, is a soft and fragrant treasure chest with Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar and without the addition of hydrogenated fats and artificial preservatives. The best pairing is with a classic English Breakfast tea, but also with a barley coffee or ginseng. Suitable as an end to a meal with a Passito wine or a gentian.
