Founded in Paris in 2017 by Delphine, an artisan candlemaker, La Bougie Herbivore is an independent home fragrance company that places emotion and ethics at the heart of creation. Now based in our workshop in Laval (Mayenne), our family business is driven by an absolute requirement: to offer exceptional products, without any compromise on health or the environment.

For your most demanding customers, we have banned all controversial ingredients:
Vegetable Waxes: Ecocert-certified Soy and Rapeseed, 100% biodegradable.
Perfumes from Grasse: Exclusive fragrances, free from CMR substances and phthalates.
Wicks: Pure, untreated cotton for a clean and even burn.
Short supply chain: 95% of our raw materials come from French SMEs and 5% from European SMEs.
Manufacturing: 100% handcrafted, hand-cast in small batches in our French workshop.
