Beer No. 6 IPA Organic from Mercantour - 33cl bottle

Fine and bitter hopped beer. IPAs were created in the 18th century, they were sent to British colonial troops in India. The much higher content of hops (antiseptic plants) allowed them to make the journey without being damaged. Brought up to date by hipsters in checkered shirts, we offer you a revisited version since our IPA is a “Lager IPA”. We have chosen low fermentation and the addition of hops by infusion after the first fermentation. Our Mercantour IPA is composed of four malts and three hops. This balance gives it a finesse on the palate and a very pronounced bitterness. We could have called it Aqui's Incredible Potion! The beer gradually gains clarity, with a large floral and resinous dominance, as well as tropical fruit flavors, particularly pineapple. Thirdly, it is a powerful bitterness reminiscent of quinine which lingers lastingly on the palate.
