Our Szeged sweet paprika is obtained from the highest quality whole paprika fruits grown in the Szeged region of Hungary, the paprika capital of the world. They are harvested when ripe in the cool of autumn, then dried, ground whole by hand using a stone mill to obtain a delicious red powder of 160 ASTA. Rich in recognized know-how and traditions accumulated since the 17th century, Szeged, this unique region and its terroir give paprika its exceptional quality, characterized by its bright red color and its unique scent. Our sweet paprika has sweet notes of red pepper, very fruity with a slight bitterness, sometimes even notes of tomato.
